Hawaii: Day One.

Our flight to Hawaii was at 9am. We were flying Hawaiian Airlines out of Oakland to Honolulu. It was my first time flying Hawaiian as I usually fly United going to Hawaii. The flight was ok despite it being 6 hours long (I always thought it was a 5 hour flight). We were served some breakfast sandwiches and a Mai Tai before landing.

As soon as we landed in Honolulu, we picked up our rental car and headed off to the first place everyone should go to: Costco! At Costco, we bought water, alcohol, coconut water, sunblock, and some snacks to bring home to our friends and family. Then we headed to the Sheraton Waikiki, which was home for the next days. But I mean, you can’t complain when this is your view.

After getting settled into our room we grabbed food at Marakumi Udon for a late lunch/ early dinner.

The food was delicious and totally hit the spot. After we ate, we got ready and hung out at The Edge Infinity Pool at our hotel. The sun was setting, the water was comfortable, and outside was warm with a cool breeze.

We set out for something sweet, and headed down Beach Walk and found some food trucks, which one of them was serving Hawaiian Shaved Ice. We got a medium Lihing Pineapple and Mango to share and called in a night.
