Açaí Nice Cream.

Coming back from a “vacation” (whether its a weekend get away or a long haul) getting back to my daily routine can sometimes be a bit challenging, which is probably why I can’t muster enough strength and will power in me to go to the gym (but that’s neither here nor there). Anyways, yes part of my daily routine is to have a smoothie bowl or nice cream of some sort. I have such horrible eating habits, that adding in a smoothie bowl ensures that I’m not just putting horrible processed food into my body. Plus, I have to make sure I use all of these frozen smoothie packets I have in my freezer!

Smoothie:
– 3 frozen bananas
– 1 frozen Acai smoothie packet (I use Sambazon)
– 1 (4 oz) Dannon Activia Strawberry Probiotic Yogurt
– 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds

Toppings:
– Shredded Coconut
– Vanilla Almond Granola
– Goji Berries
– Frozen Blackberries
– Frozen Blueberries
– Frozen Dragon Druit

Directions:

  1. Cut the frozen bananas into 1/2 inch chunks and add into the blending cup
  2. Break the frozen smoothie into chunks for easy blending and add
  3. Add the chia seeds
  4. Add the yogurt
  5. Blend until smooth using the emulsifying blade
  6. Top with your favorite toppings
  7. Enjoy!
