I recently came across this Echeveria Black Prince at Plant and Pottery Outlet in Sunol. He was in a 4″ pot and was being sold for $4.99 (I think) so of course I bought him. He was covered in hard water stains and I couldn’t figure out how to remove them, so I turned to my Instagram Stories for advice!
One user, @mysuccatashwish, suggested using diluted vinegar so I decided to give it a go. I decided to boil water and let it sit for a bit, then added white distilled vinegar. It was like 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar. Then using a clean cotton round (the ones I used to remove my makeup) I cleaned the leaves and let it sit out to dry. Here is a 30 minute after picture.
I’ll report back with a new update with how the Black Prince looks after a couple of days.
