Kettlebar Steam Cooking

We took a Lyft to Anaheim Packing House to have some dinner because we wanted something more filling than what we could’ve had at the parks. I really wanted a pan roast from Kettlebar so that’s where we went. We were seated at the bar off to the side where they cook the food and I enjoyed watching them cook. It reminded me of Oyster Bar in Vegas.

We were both pretty hungry so we decided that appetizers was a perfect way to start our dinner, so we ordered the Nola Fries and some Fish Tacos.

Nola Fries ($5): The fries had a creole seasoning on them, which were delish! Plus the fries were cooked to a nice crispness. Not too crispy, and not soft. They were perfect!

Fish Tacos ($11): The fish tacos came with two tacos with flour tortillas, grilled fish, pico de gallo, and chipotle aioli. The tacos were a bit messy to eat, but damn were they tasty! The fish was well seasoned, and the pico de gallo and chipotle aioli just complimented everything very well. My mouth is watering just thinking of the fish tacos.

For our entrees, I went with the Kettlebar Pan Roast and T got the Jambalaya.

Kettlebar Pan Roast ($25): The pan roast is a tomato and cream based dish with snow crab, lobster, shrimp, chicken, and a scoop of rice. I ordered mine medium spicy, which I thought could’ve been a little more spicy. If anything, it was mild. Kettlebar’s pan roast is so good! If I could eat here every time I am in Anaheim, I would. You guys, I love pan roasts and I am so sad that I can never find pan roasts in the Bay Area. So if you guys know if a place, let a girl know. Thanks! I really wish they opened a location in the Bay.

Jambalaya ($22): T ordered the Jambalaya because he always likes a good Jambalaya. His dish came with andouille sausages, chicken, shrimp, and rice. He ordered his spicy/hot, which could’ve been spicer, too. It was super filling and he really liked it. The flavor was great.

We left Kettlebar so full and so satisfied. We both didn’t finish our meals, but we took both to go. I definitely ate more than T, though. My mouth is watering just looking at these pictures and here I am craving our meal again. When is my next trip so I can go back??
