I took a few days off of work to unwind and relax with T and Pepper. One of the places to decided to check out was Uvas Canyon County Park, which is located in the South Bay in Morgan Hill.
A cool thing about this spot is that right now, to control the crowd, you have to book your parking spot in advance, which costs $6.00. I did that online and it was super easy. It took us about an hour to get there. I did print out our parking pass, which included directions which was super helpful because I did lose reception on our way there (as well as the whole time being there). Dogs are permitted, as long as they are on a leash. We got there at 10 (our time slot to enter and park was from 10-11). There were probably a total of 10 cars in the parking lot, which was perfect. We masked up and headed out on the Waterfall Loop Trail. Let me tell you, hiking in hot ass weather wearing a mask is quite difficult. It doesn’t help that I am out of shape, but we did it !! Mask and all.
