New projects.

I wrote out and deleted this introduction now five times and I honestly don’t know the proper way to start this. Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been having really great and meaningful conversations with various people – and many of them had to do with past experiences of mine and how I dealt with things, as well as my current relationship, my job, my hobbies, etc.

… & you were saying …

The last decade.

Going into 2020, I really have not given it much thought until the past week. To me, it was just another year. Time just seems to go by faster when you are getting older. I started seeing the “10 Year Challenge” on IG and FB where people were posting pictures from 10 years ago and now, as well as posting their decade in review. Then it hit me… HAS IT REALLY BEEN A DECADE? So I figure I should do my own decade review.

Story Time.

Monday happened to be Veterans Day, and as previously mentioned in my previous post, Veterans Day is a free day at Yosemite, so the park was packed with people. I wanted to take some pretty pictures, but it was really hard to find a place that wasn’t swarming with people. T found a pretty field that wasn’t crowded, but I gave him a hard time about stopping there because dogs were not allowed (we had Pepper with us) and it was not part of our itinerary. Well, T got his way and we got out of our car to explore.

Keep Going…

Happy 1 Year Anniversary, T!

“All that you are is all that I’ll ever need.” – Ed Sheeran Funny how even after just a couple of dates, we both knew this was going to lead to something amazing. You are my best friend, my partner in life, and my soulmate. I am truly blessed to have you in my life. You are my today and all of my tomorrows. I love you, T! Happy Anniversary! And since it’s Ryan Gosling’s birthday today, I will end this with a quote from his character, Noah, from The Notebook: “I want all of you, forever, you and me, … Continue reading Happy 1 Year Anniversary, T!

Mom Jeans.

Yo, I love my Mom Jeans (but not as much as I love this dude right here). Me: “Babe, do you like my Mom Jeans?” T: “Yeah! Does the waist band stretch too?” Me: “They’re Mom Jeans… not maternity pants!” These are by far my favorite jeans that I currently own. I bought them from Urban Outfitters. They are the BDG Mom Jeans! I think they are the perfect Mom Jeans and everyone should own a pair. Continue reading Mom Jeans.

“Date someone who is a home and an adventure all at once.”

– Unknown (via ohteenscanrelate) I found this on my newsfeed from tumblr. I love the fact that my bf is just that. He is always down anything or everything. He won’t shoot down an idea. If I tell him I’d like to do something or go somewhere, he’s always down and he’ll find a way to make it happen. He plans things for us to do constantly.. even if it’s just staying at home and being lazy. And the best part of all of it is that when I am with him I honestly feel complete. I am me whenever … Continue reading “Date someone who is a home and an adventure all at once.”
