Going into 2020, I really have not given it much thought until the past week. To me, it was just another year. Time just seems to go by faster when you are getting older. I started seeing the “10 Year Challenge” on IG and FB where people were posting pictures from 10 years ago and now, as well as posting their decade in review. Then it hit me… HAS IT REALLY BEEN A DECADE? So I figure I should do my own decade review.carry on
The other weekend was probably one of the most tiring, yet fun weekends I had in a while. I mean driving through crazy weather, 15 hours of Disney, good food, barely any lines, and coming home with a bad back and foot. I would call that pretty successful.YOU KNOW YOU WANT MORE
How is that in the 32 years of existence I have never been to Yosemite? But then again, I haven’t really been a nature person until I started dating T. Anyways, Yosemite is only 3 hours away from the East Bay, soooo why not explore !? The first day we went to Yosemite was on Veterans Day, which happens to be a Free Day at Yosemite, which means we save $35, but there’s a ton of people EVERYWHERE so beware!Keep Reading, B!
We promised each other no gifts for our anniversary, but instead we will go on an adventure. Make memories. Plus, living with each other and seeing each other pretty much everyday, we tend to just buy everything we need. Plus, with T’s birthday the month before and Christmas the month after, it tends to get expensive haha This year, we opted for Yosemite because I’ve never been and they recently opened an AutoCamp location and we enjoyed Russian River so much that we decided to give this location a go!Continue reading “AutoCamp Yosemite”
What did you expect? I am an AP holder, and so is T (but not by his choice haha). So if I am going to be spending that much money for an annual pass, you bet your ass I am going to go and try to get my money’s worth. I love going to Disneyland, I know a lot of people do not feel the same way as I do, but to each their own.Continue reading “Disneyland… for the millionth time.”
One of the reasons we decided to head down to Disneyland was to go to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights with my pin girls !! I am so happy that I found a group of girls like the ones I met through my Disney pin obsession. These girls support you and uplift you. There is no competition. No nastiness. No fakeness. They are just genuinely wonderful females and I absolutely adore each and every one if them.Continue reading “Universal Halloween Horror Nights”
I don’t think we ever finalized what the hashtag was going to be for Sirena’s bachelorette, but I know that YEET was definitely the inside joke of the weekend. Can I say that although I had so much fun celebrating S, that was probably one of my more stressful travel weekends ever! Less than 2 weeks before the weekend, I had asked a friend of mine who was also attending what time I was going to pick her up and she tells me she can’t drive anymore because she needs to go to work so she’s booking a flight. Uhm, MONTHS ago flights were $300 to Palm Springs and now the flights were way over $500. Of course, I went into full panic mode. Thankfully I was able to fly standby with all the other girls on Alaska because I got to use one of the girls’ seniority! Anyways, long story short, I had to use another girls’ seniority to fly back home. Now onto the weekend…Continue reading “#SirenasLastYEEt”
I guess having an Annual Pass to Disneyland is both a blessing and a curse. I love being able to go to Disneyland, but for the YEARS that I had the AP I never really felt like I got my money’s worth until this year. Anyways, Taylor and ai decided to go to Disneyland (again). Our main goal was to go to Oga’s Cantina. Also, Sheena and her BF were going to be there, so we decided to meet up with them.
Since our flight was at 2pm, we decided to head back to the park to get ride or two in before we had to go. Also, I really wanted to get the seasonal bread pudding that they had over at Pacific Wharf in DCA.Continue reading “Disneyland // Day 3”
We took a Lyft to Anaheim Packing House to have some dinner because we wanted something more filling than what we could’ve had at the parks. I really wanted a pan roast from Kettlebar so that’s where we went. We were seated at the bar off to the side where they cook the food and I enjoyed watching them cook. It reminded me of Oyster Bar in Vegas.Continue reading “Kettlebar Steam Cooking”
