How is that in the 32 years of existence I have never been to Yosemite? But then again, I haven’t really been a nature person until I started dating T. Anyways, Yosemite is only 3 hours away from the East Bay, soooo why not explore !? The first day we went to Yosemite was on Veterans Day, which happens to be a Free Day at Yosemite, which means we save $35, but there’s a ton of people EVERYWHERE so beware!Keep Reading, B!
A couple of months ago I posted “Glamping” where I talked about AutoCamp Russian River. AutoCamp allowed you to be “one with nature” glamorously. To find out more about the place, check out my “Glamping” post! Anyways, it was finally the … Continue reading AutoCamp Russian River – Day 1, Airstream 8, and the property.
We just got back from spending almost 3 days in Portland. We got to experience rainy, overcast, and sunny Portland. We definitely had more on our To-Do list, but because of the weather and lack of sleep our itinerary was cut short, but we still enjoyed our time! Saturday We flew in from SFO just before 11am. We took the MAX Red Line from the Airport towards City Center & Beaverton and got off at Gateway to switch onto the Max Green Line towards City Center/PSU where we got off at SW 5th & Oak (our hotel was around the … Continue reading Portland – Our “3 Day” Itinerary
We did this Mayan jungle ATV/ Zip line tour which was a ton of fun, but with one drawback… the mosquitoes! So early in the morning, we were picked up to be driven about 45 minutes out. We were told that because the villagers get their water supply from the cenote (natural pit, or sinkhole, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath) and cave, we cannot have any sunblock or bug spray. Anyways, we started off getting on ATVs. T drove me around which was nice. HOWEVER. This guy would purposefully slow down just to … Continue reading Day 6: ATV, Ziplining, and Cave Swimming
So Day 4 of our Mexico trip was our Spa Day. Unfortunately, I do not have any photos at the spa. Our night was very sleepless. Both T and I woke up from nightmares. I actually woke up crying. Probably one of the worst dreams I ever had. But that’s a different story and I don’t want to get into detail. Basically I had a dream about my sister and it was just hellish. ANYWAYS! Our morning was sort of rushed. T’s parents had this massages first so they left, which meant they left B with us. We got ready … Continue reading Day 4: Spa Day
Our 2nd day in Cancun consisted of sleeping in and having the chance to swim with a dolphin! Before we left, T and I stayed in the room and watched B while his parents took a tour of the new resort. After their meeting, we took a chartered bus from the resort to where we were going to swim with a dolphin. Danny the Dolphin was the absolute cutest! And so smart 🙂 T and I commented on how we thought it was cute how Danny would always close his eyes during the photos. After we got out of the … Continue reading Day 2: Swimming with Danny the Dolphin
We flew out of SFO to Cancun on a red eye flight. Unfortunately, the flight there we did not get much sleep so as soon as we arrived in Cancun, we were all zombies. We were picked up by a driver and headed to The Grand at The Moon Palace resort. After we got our wristbands (our resort is an All-Inclusive Resort) we went straight to the lobby bar and got a few drinks while waiting for our table to be ready at the buffet. After lunch, we decided to look for the pool. The pools were pretty far from … Continue reading Day 1: Cancun, Mexico
Before I even left for Japan, I’ve had multiple people tell me that I needed to go to Tokyo Disney Sea. Being the Disney fanatic that I am, I was easily convinced. That morning I woke up early to get … Continue reading Day 10 – Tokyo Disney Sea
According to the forecast, we were supposed to have stormy weather for my birthday. We decided to not go to Tokyo Disney Sea, and instead, head out to Shibuya. Tell me why we woke up to a nice sunny day … Continue reading Day 9 – Cheers to 3-0 in Shibuya and Harajuku
We got up, again, in time to have breakfast downstairs at our hotel. Breakfast never disappointed us. The food was consistent and plentiful. Plus, the coffee was great! After breakfast, we got ready and went down to the Nissan Crossing, … Continue reading Day 8 – Bunny Cafe and Roppongi Hills
